Interview with the Stars of Masters of the Air

Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Anthony Boyle Discuss Their Roles

by [Author's Name]

In an upcoming interview, Austin Butler, Callum Turner, and Anthony Boyle spoke about their roles in the upcoming miniseries Masters of the Air. The trio of actors play real-life World War II pilots in the show, which follows the 100th Bomb Group on dangerous missions into German-occupied Europe.

Butler, who plays Captain John Egan, said that he was drawn to the role because of its complexity. "Egan is a very complex character," he said. "He's a brilliant pilot, but he's also a flawed human being. He's struggling with the horrors of war, and he's trying to find a way to keep his men alive."

Turner, who plays Lieutenant David Kenyon, said that he was impressed by the show's realism. "The show does a great job of capturing the intensity of combat," he said. "You really feel like you're there with these guys, fighting for their lives."

Boyle, who plays Sergeant Clarence Levin, said that he was honored to be a part of the show. "It's an incredible story," he said. "These men were heroes, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to tell their story."

Masters of the Air premieres on Apple TV+ on January 26th, 2024.
